I decided to head down to the Salt Lake City Library to do some research and in the mean time make it a little enjoyable for Gracie soooooo we took the train! Grace was very excited and couldn't wait to get on! However, by the time we were nearly to the library - she was done and wanted off.
We got to the library right in time for game time. We played (or made an attempt at playing) dominoes, chess, checkers and some Spongebob crazy 8's. Nana and Papa had just spent the weekend before trying to teach her to play dominoes and boy did that come in handy!Gracie loved riding the glass elevator from the 1st floor to the 5th floor and back again. Since the library didn't seem too busy we rode it a couple of times before heading to read some books!
And reading books is just what we did! We sat for a good hour on the great big bean bag and read stories! Such a wonderful part of being mommy. Ahhh I love it!
On the dreaded train ride home Grace was nearly asleep all relaxed in the chair. Amazing how a train ride can be so relaxing. And who said public transportation was bad?
